I am an apple!

You Are an Apple
You are strong, powerful, and even a bit stubborn at times.
You have enough strength to help those around you in trouble.

You are adventurous and charming. Many people are drawn to you.
You love life, and you enjoy traveling the world. You enjoy fine food, art, and culture.

People have accused you of being a snob, but that's not accurate.
You do enjoy the best things in life. Unlike snobs, you truly appreciate quality... not just pretend to.

banana wanna bwead. for rhonda

tomorrow is a b-ton trip!

and adri's mom's bday. so i have taken the liberty of baking her a nice golden loaf of banana bread. sweeted with 100% pure, organic maple syrup (grade B). it smells decadent. and here is a nice little funny 'toothpaste for dinner' comic, this is MINE. it fits me perfectly.

unfortunately the banana bread recipe is a secret. it will be put in my zine however, "sweet soy" debuting this summer!

blerry sconces.

so here is the REAL DEAL dude. i wrote duge. i haven't been baking lately. i baked some berry scones on tuesday night. I will give you all the recipe. but sadly i have no picture...

berry scones. (sconces)

2 c. spelt flour

1 T. baking powder

1 t. sea salt (seal salt?)

dash of cinnamon

1/3 c. agave nectar (I prefer light but adri prefers dark)

1/3 c. oil (I use smart balance)

1/4 c. cold water

1 c. berries (a mixture of frozen strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries, thawed)

1/2 t. almond extract

Mix the first 4 ingredients and add the rest minus the berries. mix until just all combined and fold in berries. drop by large spoonfuls (spatcherler fulls) onto an oiled cookie sheet. bake at 375 for 8 mins. then remove from oven and drizzle with agave and bake an additional 6 mins. cool. and eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it!

oh focaccia you lovely loaf

well i have not posted in a while....been cooking lots! particulary pizza lately.

adri & i made the green goddess pizza from vegan with a vengeance last week, and on sunday i made a homemade pizza with a yeast free wheat crust, faux feta, broccoli, and sun dried tomatoes (which i love now)

had an across the universe party the other day, and adri made lovely homemade focaccia. i heart it.
