pad thai. take two.
So i attempted the luscious, addictive pad thai recipe last night.
it turned out a bit bland. not enough sugar i believe.
it was still palatable, of course, only when i smothered it all over with ketchup.
i bathed it in the godly red sauce and ate the sticky orange mess with my chopsticks.
this is the ketchup pad thai i speak of that daun introduced me to and we made a party out of watching "monster camp".
i watched australia.
this weekend at dauns we will be preparing for our civil war re-enactment (hopes) by eating hardtack and eating beans out of the cans they came out of! how'dya like that?

it LOOKS really good. maybe we should make it again this weekend, and i'll re-rent monster camp. v. excited to see you on saturday! mushroom hunting, ymca-ing, hard tacking, opera-ing, movie-watching. all in one day. ooh you better come early.
